Funding Priorities

The Isora Foundation is committed to partnering with under-resourced communities by supporting well developed and sustainable strategies in the following areas: health; education; economic development; the environment and social justice.

The Isora Foundation seeks to support organizations or projects that:
  • are based in Minnesota or New Mexico
  • support sustainable economic development, environmental and social change, often within grassroots and/or indigenous communities
  • attempt to change negative social, economic and cultural barriers through their efforts in education, leadership development and advocacy
  • are innovative in using visual/performing arts and social media to empower, inform and organize communities
  • enter into partnerships with others, creating new networks for change
  • have a culturally appropriate evaluation plan that demonstrates success in achieving their goals
