About UsGood Water Company
Good Water Company's objective is to be the leader in the design, installation and service of water purification systems in northern New Mexico. We are committed to providing the most environmentally-friendly and proven water purification technology available and to being responsible stewards of our precious local water resources.
Good Water Company was founded in 1988 and was purchased by Stephen Wiman in March, 2005. Stephen's background is in science (M.S., Ph.D., Geology). His training was in stratigraphy and his industry experience was in subsurface geology. He has been involved in geologic research and hydrocarbon exploration both domestically and overseas. Stephen has the appropriate education and background for understanding both water chemistry and wells. Stephen is committed to making Good Water Company the leader in treating "problem water". Santa Fe area wells have some very challenging water quality issues, including naturally-occurring radionuclides. Stephen has assembled a highly qualified office staff and sales team, while retaining Service Manager John Albertson and his skilled and competent staff of experienced technicians. Good Water Company operates under the highest standards of integrity and we are constantly improving our 24/7 service. Although Good Water Company offers NSF-certified (National Sanitation Foundation) water conditioning equipment by the industry leader (Hague Water Quality International), Stephen's primary quest has been to identify third-party certified, environmentally-friendly, sustainable water purification technology suitable to the needs of Santa Feans who want to both conserve precious water resources and protect our environment. His goal has been to re-structure Good Water Company into a "green" water purification company. Good Water Company also offers NSF-certified equipment which also conforms to California Department of Health Standards (the benchmark state agency in water treatment regulation). There are dozens of uncertified, non-salt (magnetic and catalytic) systems available in the marketplace. The systems Good Water Company offers, and the contaminant reduction claims of these systems, are verified by independent, third-party certification. Good Water Company will offer only the highest quality systems, which are available only through water treatment professionals and are not available online. Water purification is our only business. Good Water Company is committed to environmentally responsible business. Stephen and his business partner, Linda Paisley, have purchased a building adjacent to the South Railyard and are planning a "green" remodel of the Baca Bazaar building (former 7-Up bottling plant), which will be the future home of Good Water Company. We anticipate moving to our new office and warehouse space at 933 Baca Street in mid-2008. At our new location, we are including a product showroom with plumbed equipment demonstration capabilities. We have incorporated many "green" features in our building remodel and we will continue to offer the most sustainable water treatment technologies available. |
