Galisteo Inn 866-404-8200 Directions Tano Room The Tanos, meaning "near the sun", are the Indians said to have flourished for 300 years in the Galisteo Basin. During the seventeenth century the Tanos had a tumultuous time that involved disease, famine, war and persecution. The Tanos then splintered off into many refugee bands that eventually integrated to New Mexico society. This room is named after this historic tribe. Queen, private bath, fireplace & television.
