Hallie Love has over thirty years of Pilates, yoga and dance training. An experienced teacher with expertise in physical rehabilitation, she offers her students a unique and contemporary approach to Pilates and yoga based on modern exercise science and the universal principles of alignment in a therapeutic application.

An award-winning scholar with cum laude degrees in Fine Arts and Law, Ms. Love is a lawyer and published author: Watakame's Journey won an Independent Publisher Book Award for multicultural fiction, and she recently completed Pilates for Yoga - Finding Ease in Pilates Exercises and Core Strength in Yoga Postures.

Her love of movement led her to the study of dance and she taught and performed throughout the Western states for several years with a professional dance company. She has extensively studied anatomy and kinesthesia (heightened perception of muscular movements). She is certified to teach on all Pilates apparatus from the nationally renowned Pilates Physical Mind Institute in New York, and she received her advanced yoga teacher training in the Iyengar and Anusara yoga traditions. Her meditation practice is Shambhala Buddhism and yoga, having completed both the undergraduate and graduate level studies of Shambhala Buddhism.

Ms. Love teaches at award-winning health resorts, community centers, and her own Hallie Love Studios in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She travels to bring her Pilates for Yoga® workshops to fitness and wellness centers nationally. Her passion is to help empower fellow baby boomers as well as persons of all ages and fitness levels to be in control of their own health through Pilates and yoga.

Hallie puts the yoga into the Pilates exercises and the Pilates core strength into the yoga poses, giving students who seek the sacred geometry of age-old yoga and students who want the modern Pilates core strength training the best of both worlds.
