Soul Retrieval: The Soul Mending Way
Alberto Villoldo, PhD

Learn to translate mythic rites of passages into contemporary journeys of transformation. Learn to journey safely through the domains of the shadow and the Soul, how to engage the archetypal elements that inhabit each of these chambers, and bring healing to ancient soul wounds. In selective trance states unique to Shamanism, you will discover realms not bound by ordinary time, domains where there is no causality, and where one can hear the voices of the ancient ones in the wind, heal one's past, and summon one's destiny.

Presenter Bio: During an expedition to the Andes more than 25 years ago, Dr. Villoldo discovered an isolated group of healers who treated illness before any symptoms appeared in the body. They did not work on the physical body itself, but the 'luminous energy field' that envelopes the body and holds a template of how we heal, how we live, and how we might die. When the imprints of disease are erased from the luminous energy field, a person returns to health. Alberto trained as a psychologist and medical anthropologist, and has investigated the spiritual traditions of the Andes and the Amazon for more than 25 years. He has developed a body of shamanic knowledge which provides us with a framework through which we can learn the ancient healing practices which can be "known but not told." He is one of the leading teachers of the Inkan healing and spiritual traditions and author of more than 10 books including Shaman, Healer, Sage and Dance of the Four Winds.

Spaceflight: A Cognitive Psychology
of Gravitational Orientation
Story Musgrave, MD PhD

Story Musgrave presents a paradigm that looks at the human as a perceiving, orienting and locomoting organism which has been created, evolved and constituted over billions of years by a gravitational vector orthogonal to the planetary surface. He will show how perception and orientation of the gravity vector is essential to the organism's ability to perceive, orient, and operate within a three dimensional environment. Riding a rocket for eight minutes does not eliminate the influences of billions of years of evolution. Within the context of evolutionary biology and a cognitive psychology, i.e. self awareness and reflection on conscious phenomena, he will present the personal experiences of a gravitational creature in the free fall condition.

Presenter Bio: Story paved his way into NASA history as one of its most colorful, passionate and dedicated astronauts. He joined NASA in 1967 and led the spacewalking team that repaired the Hubble Space Telescope in 1993. He was also the first astronaut to fly a record-breaking six space shuttle missions. He made many "behind the scenes" contributions, helping to design the Skylab program in the mid-1970s and the spacesuits and equipment needed by astronauts on spacewalks. Story holds six degrees in subjects ranging from medicine to mathematics to business administration to literature. He has published 44 scientific papers on topics such as aerospace medicine, exercise physiology and clinical surgery. Currently, Story works at Walt Disney Imagineering in the research and development division.
