Rodeo de Santa Fe! Parade scheduled for Saturday, June 21st, 2008. Registration starts @ 8 am.
ANNOUNCEMENT Calling on all interested young women and girls with a horse and a love of rodeo. The RODEO DE SANTA FE is accepting applications for the 2009 Rodeo Royalty. Queen contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 23. Princess contestants must be between age 13 and 17. Junior Princess contestants must be between ages 9 and 12. All candidates must be residents of Santa Fe County for one year before the contest. The contest will be held Sunday, June 15th, 2008 @ the Rodeo Arena. This is not a beauty contest, and horsemanship counts for 50% of the contest. The Queen receives a $1000 scholarship, custom saddle, buckle, sash, and crown. The Princess receives a buckle, sash, and crown. The Junior Princess receives a crown, buckle, and sash. The incoming royalty reigns at the 2008 Rodeo de Santa Fe and will represent Santa Fe County at various functions and activities during the year.
