WE THE PLANET
This Earth-based web site is our vision of how we humans can live and work in the spirit of cooperation toward the health and vitality of our common home. Not just WE the Human Beings, but WE the entire, finite planet, down to the tiniest, the invisible, all living things, and the inorganic, too. We are all interconnected in this huge and finite worldwide web of life. Everything we do—everything—has some greater or lesser impact on everyone and everything else. The poet Gary Snyder calls it “interdependence.” The Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hanh calls it “interbeing.” What they mean is: We’re all in this together. How we embrace and act on this interconnectedness is the subject of our web site.
