Dear FAOMRA Member or State Representative,

As a reminder, The Federation of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Regulatory Agencies (FAOMRA) invites you to attend its next national meeting, in Wheeling, Illinois, on Thursday, October 16 through Sunday, October 19 2008 at:

The Westin Chicago North Shore
601 North Milwaukee Avenue
Wheeling, Illinois 60090
United States 97204
Tel: 847-777-6500 | Fax: 847-777-6550

$165 (Single/Double Occupancy + State and Local Taxes)
Online Registration: www.aaaomonline.org or call hotel direct (Request AAAOM Rate)

Please refer to the America Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine's web site www.aaaomonline.org for more information about the conference.

At this meeting, we will be hosting a continental breakfast both mornings. On Friday morning, we will be inviting the five national acupuncture organizations to discuss various issues. Please note that there are no fees required to attend this meeting!

Although FAOMRA has established an annual due of $1,000 for member agencies, the Federation believes that your representation and input are most important. We are asking that your state agency seriously consider sending a representative to this meeting. Also, please note that for those regulatory agencies that are not able to afford the full $1,000 membership dues, the FAOMRA Bylaws state, *the Board of Directors may waive the annual dues or a portion of the annual dues for extenuating circumstances.* If your regulatory agency is not able to pay the full dues, please send a written explanation of the extenuating circumstances and a statement of the amount the regulatory agency is able to pay for dues.

If your state would like to join or obtain a renewal application for FY 2008, I am attaching a renewal application. Please fill it out and send it back to me at your convenience.

Again, we hope that you consider sending a representative from your state agency to our meetings on October 16-19. National ideas and policies are shared at this meeting and we feel it is important that your state participate. We urge you to come share your thoughts and concerns.
