Santa Fe Botanical Garden Celebrate... Cultivate... Conserve ~ Santa Fe Botanical Garden

The Santa Fe Botanical Garden (SFBG) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation, established in 1987 by a small group of gardeners, botanists and environmentally oriented individuals whose vision was to establish a botanical garden in Santa Fe.

Educational programming is a primary goal concentrating on environmentally responsible garden design, including plant selection and care, as well as conservation techniques for water catchment and harvesting.

SFBG manages two educational preserves: the Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve and the Ortiz Mountains Educational Preserve.

Currently SFBG is working on developing a demonstration garden at Museum Hill. The water-wise garden will be located on city-owned land along Arroyo de Los Pinos adjacent to Museum Hill in Santa Fe.
